As the summer is now in full, mighty swing I will be tagging along to as many festivals as I can, and playing wherever there are ears, wellies and refreshing drinks. Next stops are Cambridge Folk, Wilderness, Green Man and Party 4 Patrick. If you are attending these, come and find me.
I will be posting about all performances here.
Have a superb summertime.

This is a recount of what I can remember.

I am very excited to announce I am playing and hosting a new totally acoustic night starting in London.
Working with TV Nights, the team behind the music at Notting Hill Arts Club and Ronnie Scott’s, we will bring you stripped-down, unplugged performances from some of the most exciting emerging artists.
The first night will take place on the 26th of February in a quite remarkable secret location, so remarkable I wish I could tell you, but I can’t…
The new 2nd edition albums are in, with a few new tweaks and tassels, ready for your procurement.
The Music Box at Paper Dress Vintage on Curtain Road is a heck of a nice way to spend an evening.

Merry 2014 to you.
If your resolution is to see more live music this month, I recommend coming to The Finsbury on the 16th, where I will be supporting the marvellous All The Queen’s Ravens.
Precisely one year after my debut album launch at the Gallery Cafe, I was very pleased to return for a serious festive hoedown. It was a great pleasure to play again alongside Patch & the Giant, Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, Sophie Jamieson, Laish and many more of the wonderful friends I have met this year.
By significant coincidence I also sold the very last debut album from the 1st pressing. New and improved 2nd edition CDs are now on the way, with a wonderful feeling of completeness.
This month is all promise and anticipation. There will be a new album being born in the new year, as well as big plans for an acoustic night in London.
It all feels a bit like this.
Thursday the 26th I am very pleased to be playing at The Nest Collective’s Folk Rising alongside a splendid line up.
Also, here are a few words about Patch & the Giant’s return to their monthly Sunday shin-digs at the Boogaloo. I’ll be playing the first one of the season, on the 29th. I hope to see you there.
The debut single ‘The Flood’ is out now. It is available only here - as a limited edition home-made release sent to your door.

This summer I will be releasing a debut single with my first official music video. They will go hand in hand like two muscular lobsters. I look forward to presenting them to you.
Spring time is a marvellous time of year. I am very excited to be playing the festivals this summer, including The Great Escape, Home Farm, Cloud Cuckoo Land, Party 4 Patrick and somewhere at Glastonbury. In the meantime there are these…
A totally acoustic night with some of my favourite artists; Hot Feet, Sophie Jamieson and Until the Bird, thanks to Live and Unamplified at the Book Club.
I have been lucky to become part of a short film project about the good people of London's underground music scene.
If you like it - vote for it and we could win a grant to enter the Sundance Film Festival. Your help is greatly appreciated.
I am in session and having a natter on Folk Radio UK for Bob’s Folk Show. Although I haven’t had the chance to hear it yet, Bob says it’s a good one and Bob is a man to be trusted.

I am going to be London’s first virtual busker. I will be busking as projection in The Roundhouse, Camden all this weekend. We haven’t quite figured out the virtual change side of things, but that will have to come later. Thanks to Jaye Harrison. Here’s to the future.
Big thanks to everyone that came to the Gallery Cafe for the album launch. It meant a great deal to me. Chimera is now on sale.

Thank yous and much love to everyone who came the Emma Gatrill’s Album launch,
it was a religious experience.
The debut album, Chimera, is coming along nicely at House of Strange Studios. The recordings are sounding pleasingly thick and well rooted.
